过去一个世纪以来「神学美学」兴起，重新尝试通过美学的视角来认识上帝。本次讲座，尝试将美的神学与当代文化中关于美的相关议题进行对话。诸如艺术与正义、美和崇高与上帝的关系、想像力在神学中的作用等。
For the past century, "theological aesthetics" has been on the rise, with its re-attempt to understand God from the perspective of aesthetics. In this lecture, I seek to create a dialogue between a theology of beauty and some issues in contemporary culture which are related to beauty. Such issues include the relationship between art and justice; beauty, sublimity, and their relationship to God; the role of imagination in theology, and the like.

Rev. Dr. Sheng-Yu Peng
英国爱丁堡大学神学院哲学博士。现任基督教台湾浸信会神学院副教授、台湾浸神学术发展中心主任。
研究兴趣：神学美学、神学戏剧学、神学与艺术、诠释学、基督教伦理学。
Dr Peng obtained his PhD in Theology in the School of Divinity, University of Edinburgh, and is currently an Associate Professor at the Taiwan Baptist Christian Seminary and Director of its Academic Development Centre. Research interests: Theological Aesthetics, Theo-drama, Theology and Art, Hermeneutics, Christian Ethics
