Bible College has produced thousands of graduates over the past

the world. The mission of the College is to train faithful servants of
Jesus Christ to edify the body of Christ and to make disciples of all

The Head, Centre for Servant Leaders (CSL), is responsible for providing visionary leadership and operational oversight to strengthen Christian servant leadership development across church communities and the College. This role leads strategic planning, program design, stakeholder engagement, bilingual facilitation (English and Chinese) and theological content integration aligned with the College’s missional values. The Head will also collaborate with external partners to promote impactful, contextualised and biblically grounded training and short-term learning experiences for lay and ministry leaders.

The Head of CSL operates in a dynamic and collaborative academic setting that is grounded on theology with modern instructional technologies. This role requires engagement with faculty, students and external partners to drive innovation in design and development of learning programs via various platforms. The role involves both office-based and interactive work, including strategic planning, organization, hands-on development of ministry educational programmes, facilitation, training and evaluation etc. While the work is primarily on-site at the College, there may be requirements for conferences, partnerships or professional development participation at church or external locations. The role also demands adaptability in a fast-evolving learning environment with technological advancements to enhance ministry education and delivery methodologies.

  1. Strategic Development

    1. Develop the CSL strategy that aligns with the College’s vision, mission, values and goals that will effectively establish and build relations with church network for innovative learning delivery rooted in sound theological education.
    2. Establish and update CSL policies and procedures to ensure
      practices are ethical, compliant and applicable in practice to lead with high standards for theological education.

  2. Program Design, Content Production & Resources Rights
    1. Collaborate the creation, revision and any accreditation of
      programs with relevant stakeholders.
    2. Ensure course content integrates biblical principles with
      ministry needs.
    3. Schedule and manage the CSL program calendar, ensuring
      costs of program development, materials, resources etc are budgeted and tracked regularly and meet the financial goals.
    4. Direct the production of multi-media instructional resources, including video-based sessions, interactive modules and online course materials.
    5. Establish and ensure program materials/owner rights are properly documented and kept up to date.

  3. Team Development
    1. Provide training and technical guidance to the CSL team members on new or current program development, delivery and production of engaging learning videos, e-learning assets and other digital content for blended learning.
    2. Lead workshops and facilitate effective teaching strategies and program delivery to ensure a consistent quality standard is achievable by team members.
    3. Mentor team members in church partnership engagements and expansion to strengthen relationships and fulfilling contractual requirements.

  4. EdTech & AI Tools Integration
    1. Implement digital record-keeping systems that align with PDPA requirements, ensuring all program-related data, contractual terms for each engagement and participant engagements are accurately documented and updated through the LMS or comparable platforms.
    2. Guide team members in selecting and utilizing AI-driven
      platforms and digital learning resources that effectively support a variety of adult learning preferences, fostering engagement and lifelong learning within a servant leadership framework.
    3. Evaluate and recommend scalable, mission-aligned Edtech
      innovations for future program development, ensuring solutions are sustainable, inclusive and responsive to the needs of diverse adult learners including assessment, feedback, content creation, course analytics and learner support.

  5. Quality Assurance & Innovation
    1. Establish production workflows, review content for teaching and learning, technical quality and introduce innovative approaches to online instructional delivery or other channels.
    2. Monitor the impact of Edtech and AI integration on program
      quality, learner satisfaction and ministry outcomes, using data analytics to inform continuous improvement within the Centre’s sphere of responsibility.
    3. Ensure compliance with theological accreditation standards and best practices in program development and digital content creation.

  6. Stakeholder/Partnership Engagement
    1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external theological
      institutions and accrediting agencies to advance CSL goals.

The role of Head, Advancement at Singapore Bible College (SBC) is pivotal to the institution’s long-term financial health and its ability to fulfil its mission of theological education and service. The Head, Advancement leads and implements a comprehensive, sustainable advancement strategy to secure the financial resources needed for SBC’s mission: To glorify God by training faithful servants of Jesus Christ to edify the body of Christ and to make disciples of all nations.?

This role is responsible for developing and executing fundraising initiatives, cultivating donor relationships, and collaborating across departments to ensure SBC remains a financially sustainable, leading Asian institution for Christian postgraduate theological education.

The Head, Advancement is not only a fundraiser but a strategic partner in advancing SBC’s mission to equip servant-leaders for the church and society, emphasising stewardship, transparency, and innovation in resource development.
