Our faculty members at SBC are highly competent musicians, well-respected in their disciplines, and experienced in church and educational ministries. This team of servant leaders is passionate about their call to be disciplers, pastors, and teachers to our students, alumni, and to all whom the Lord brings to them to serve.
You will be learning with students from over 20 countries and denominations. As you study with these skilled musicians with strong pastoral heart like yours, you will find yourself enveloped in a community of mutual support and accountability that seeks to grow spiritually, musically, pastorally, and academically.
Our unique curriculum offers a well-rounded training that integrates music studies, church music, worship, Bible, and theology courses with their application in today’s Asian context. Spiritual and character formation is also embedded in the learning experiences, so that our students can become adaptable pastor-musicians and church music educators.
Guided hands-on ministry opportunities in local churches allows you to apply what you learned in the classroom. Performance opportunities expose you to a wide range of repertoire and performance formats. Our annual Selah Retreat, seminars, and masterclasses provide more learning experiences on specialized topics.
Singapore is a hub for Christian ministries and musical activities in Asia. This makes it a wonderful place for exposure and learning in music, arts, and ministry.
