The Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies is a 33-credit programme which offers working professionals an opportunity to explore biblical, theological, historical and interpretative foundations of the Christian faith. In addition, it seeks to integrate Christian faith with matters of inner life and spirituality, missions and vocation. The majority of credits earned in this programme are transferable to the Master’s degree programmes.
The programme is conducted on a part-time basis in the evening over a 3-year cycle, or in the daytime as a 1-year, full-time course. Learning onsite within the SBC community is most effective and fruitful. However, it is now possible to choose to complete the GDCS curriculum entirely online, wherever you are, part/full-time. Those who opt to do this may also apply to the Immersion Experience where they can stay and study at SBC for 1–2 weeks at the start of every semester and get to know their classmates and faculty in person.
Please note that all international students studying onsite are required to?be studying on a full time basis.
