This seminar will address the needs of those who are in a shepherding role especially during this challenging time. It will offer insights from a psychiatric, spiritual and pastoral perspective to enable shepherds to practise self-care so that you can minister effectively to people under their care.

Speakers

Bishop Emeritus Robert Solomon

Dr Solomon was the bishop of The Methodist Church in Singapore from 2000 to 2012. Before that, he was a medical doctor, local church pastor, annual conference president, and principal of TTC. Bishop Emeritus Solomon continues to preach, teach, and write, having written about 50 books, including The Hurting Heart, The Spiritual Leader, Finding Rest for the Soul, and Faithful to the End.

Dr Sim Kang

Dr Sim Kang is currently a senior consultant and Assistant Chairman Medical Board (Education) at the Institute of Mental Health. He is also an Associate Professor with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, NTU. He worships at Prinsep Street Presbyterian Church with his family and enjoys travelling and taking walks with his wife.
