Reflections on Singapore's Society through the eyes of a Teen Folk-Rock Star

Nam Seng was involved in many radio and TV production since the age of 12. He hosted many variety shows. He was also a dubbing artiste, commercial voice-over talent and singer.

Nam Seng was the lead singer of the pioneer Xin Yao trio, The Straw, and one of the founders of the first Xin Yao recording company, Ocean Butterflies Pte. Ltd. This company later expanded into music production for artists from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

He was called into full time ministry in 2000, theologically equipped in China Evangelical Seminary and returned to his home church, Singapore Life Church, and pastored for the next six years.

Once again, he was called to undergo further equipping in 2009. In 2016, he graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with a PhD in Intercultural Studies. He has taught in China Evangelical Seminary since then.
