Revision of Our Mission and Vision Statements

The imminent need for campus redevelopment in recent years has prompted our Board members, senior leaders, and directors from various departments and schools to re-evaluate and reflect deeply upon the mission and vision of the College.

We are thankful that the Board of Directors and senior leadership of both the Executive Committee and Academic Committee affirm the revised mission and vision statements below (with the statement on our values updated accordingly):

?

Mission

To glorify God by training faithful servants of Jesus Christ to edify the body of Christ and to make disciples of all nations

?

Vision

Nurturing servant leaders, integrative thinkers, and effective communicators of God¡¯s Word

?

Values

To be a Christ-like community of loving and faithful servants who exemplify respect and integrity, and pursue excellence in education to serve the body of Christ and society

I strongly believe the revised statements aptly captures the essence of the theological education carried out by Singapore Bible College in the following ways:

?

The mission statement defines the distinctive purpose of WHY this college continues its ministry.

?

The vision statement gives us a clear direction for WHAT we are to actualize in theological education.

?

The values statement describes the godly character of WHO we are to be as we serve together for the glory of God.? ?

?

Let¡¯s submit the revision of the three statements to God. May he empower us to fulfil his mission continuity plan despite the ever-changing conditions we face in the post-pandemic situation.
