CENTRE FOR SERVANT LEADERS (CSL)

The Church needs faithful leaders (2 Tim. 2:2). In this vein, the Centre for Servant Leaders (CSL) seeks to nurture the Church through nurturing church leaders at all levels of church leadership. The work of the CSL is guided by our C.A.R.E. values, namely, collaboration, authenticity, relationships, and empowerment.

Currently, the CSL runs four programmes:

Pastoral Fellowship Programme (PFP)

The PFP is a one-year mentoring programme for early-career pastors. Participants will receive mentoring from an experienced senior pastor in small peer groups to further equip them with the skills for service and provide them with a haven of peers for accountability and growth. Scholarships are available for applicants.

Certificate of
Church Ministry (CCM)

The CCM is audit-only, two-year programme designed to equip lay ministry leaders with the necessary skills for service in local churches. Courses focus on basic ministry skill sets like leading small group bible studies, basic pastoral care, leading worship music teams.

Pastors Seminar
& Fellowship (PSF)

The Pastors Seminar & Fellowship (PSF) is one of the initiatives undertaken by the Centre for Servant Leaders (CSL). The PSF aims to serve as a platform to promote effective church leadership at the pastoral leadership level. Renowned and seasoned practitioners will address issues that are faced by churches and their leaders today. The seminars can take the form conference-type setting or intimate workshop or fireside chat that would facilitate the discussions and networking. The PSF is targeted to convene four times a year.

Certificate in Lay Leadership (CLL)

The CLL is an audit-only, two to three-year programme to equip individuals serving in Church Boards as Elders, Deacons and Council members to serve alongside their pastors in the local church. The Certificate in Lay Leadership (CLL) will be awarded upon completion of four core and four elective modules in this programme.
