Evangelicalism today is a house deeply divided over the issue of women. This seminar offers a closer examination of the role of women in the Church through an interdisciplinary approach. Moving from a functional to a sacramental or ontological understanding of women’s role will hopefully find a way to transcend the current impasse. Hear arguments on complementarianism and egalitarianism from Drs. Simon Chan, Andrew Spurgeon and Sim Swee Kee as they help us navigate this divisive issue. Those of us who struggle with this divisive issue, or who want to know what the Bible says about the role of women are strongly encouraged to attend this seminar.
