Originally from Taiwan, Dr. Chang studied at and graduated from the above universities.
As an Old Testament lecturer in SOTC at SBC since January 2011, she teaches courses such as Research and Writing Skills, Hebrew Grammar, Hebrew Exegesis and Old Testament Canon and related studies.
She wrote several articles and published The Power and Purpose of Blood in God’s Design: Leviticus 17 and Its Implications for Christian Engagement with Chinese Culture (Langham, 2024) and 《圣经希伯来文文法:从入门到熟练 (Learning Biblical Hebrew Grammar: From Beginner to Master)》(华神出版社,2024). She was involved in the revision of the Chinese Contemporary Bible, translation and notation of Worldwide Chinese Bible, writing for the forthcoming Chinese Bible Commentary by Langham Foundation, translation of Tyndale commentary on “Leviticus” and co-authored “A Handbook of Research Writing” (in Chinese) with Dr Lee Chee Chiew.
She and her husband, Rev Amos Chan have a son and a daughter: Clement and Priscilla. As a sojourner in the journey of serving our LORD, Dr. Chang is dedicated to Old Testament research with passion and is committed to pastoring and teaching in the church community. Her service focuses on responding to the practical challenges of ministering in the contemporary context with the living Word of God.
