Rev. Dr. Clement Chia preached at the Sunday service of 17 churches and at two pastoral ordination services for SBC alumni in Singapore. He conducted eight guided reading seminars on “The Future of Christian Belief” for churches in Malaysia and two seminars on “Loving God and Knowing the World” in Singapore. Dr. Calvin Chong was the trainer for the Bible Society of Singapore/Evangelical Alliance of Singapore workshop “Fresh Eyes on Online Tools for Children’s Ministry”. He also conducted a workshop on “Exploring Remote, Real-time Music Collaborations Using Online Digital Audio Technologies” at the Global Consultation on Arts and Music in Missions. He was a respondent to the paper “Disrupting the Learning Neighbourhood: Digitality, Decolonization and the Future of the Theological College” at the GoNeDigiTal Conference.
Dr. Peter Ho spoke on “The Psalms and the Messiah” for the Lent seminar of Logos Christian Church, and “Grasping the Good Life” for the Wisdom Literature series at Queenstown Baptist Church. He also presented a paper on “Hope for the Nations” at the Tyndale Fellowship Old Testament Conference.
Rev. Dr. Samuel Law attended the online Evangelical Seminary Deans Conference. He presented at the Singapore Centre for Global Mission’s Asian Missiologies Initiative Forum on Biblical Practices for Contextualization, and the “Engaging in Inter-religious Dialogue” workshop at Bartley Christian Church.

Dr. Joseph Lee preached the Sunday sermons at Living Stream Christian Church, Bartley Christian Church, and Grace Jubilee Church. He spoke on the theme of “Retuning Worship” at the Music Ministry retreats of the Evangelical Church of General Santos, the Philippines, Singapore Life Church, and Bethesda Bedok Tampines Church. ?
Mr. Eudenice V. Palaruan was the music director of the 2021 SBC Hymn Reflections “No More Nights”. He crafted the choral arrangement of “On This Day” for the compilation of New Liturgical Songs entitled “FLOW (Faith Lives on Wondrously)” in celebration of the 500th anniversary of Christianity in the Philippines. He spoke on “In Search of a New Vocal Hierarchy in Choral Music” for the Asian Composers League. ?
Dr. Myrleene Yap spoke at several webinars, including on “Choir Ministry in Pandemic Times” for the Church Music Association, Thailand, and “New Norm Worship” for Malaysia Theological Seminary. She was also a plenary speaker at the Global Consultation on Arts and Music in Mission.
Mrs. Penny Quek preached at a Mother’s Day service of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer on “Making Christ the Centre of Your Marriage, Parenting and Life”. She also conducted a seminar entitled “Waffles and Spaghetti: Finding Your Way to Good Communication” for parents of kindergarten-aged children organized by The Bible Church’s Family Life ministry. ?
